Call for participants

1. SLOVENIAN WINE FESTIVAL and CULINARY FESTIVAL

for many years draw together suppliers and consumers of exquisite wines and culinary delights. Last year more than 200 excellent winemakers and 50 producers of culinary delights as well as selected chefs were presented; Slovenian and foreign. We have seen over 3500 visitors from the ranks of experts, retailers, caterers, hoteliers and other professionals, journalists and enthusiastic consumers. Thus realizing our mission of spreading the culture of wine and food enjoyment and creating new business opportunities.

Also this year the festivals will be held in the two most prestigious hotels in the centre of Ljubljana – Hotel Slon and Grand Hotel Union, namely 18 and 19 November 2010.

The price for participation includes:
• presentation of four wine samples (from which one of them should be a novelty on Slovenian market, since our aim is to promote it as such) or four culinary delights;
• standard exhibition stand: table, two chairs, wine spit bucket, jar of water, bread holder, name plate;
• constant supply of water and bread;
• common space for storage and cooling as well as cleaning;
• 3 vouchers for gratis entry for your business partners;
• 2 invitations for the official opening event;
• 3 badges for staff;
• lounge for socializing with business partners with lunch both days before the event;
• possibility to participate in educative events, upon prior registration;
• clean wine glasses for visitors;
• all necessary communications regarding the event;
• basic entry in the catalogue;
• basic presentation on the official website;
• promotion of the Festival (advertising and communication with the Slovenian and foreign media).

Registration and payment till 31.5.2010: 500 €+DDV
Registration and payment till 31.7.2010: 550 €+DDV
Registration and payment till 30.9.2010: 600 €+DDV

DO NOT FORGET!!!
• Registration is valid with the payment of the pro forma invoice.
• Each winemaker must contribute 3 bottles of each presented wine for the Festival Archive which is aimed for promotional purposes of the Festival, wines and winemakers throughout the year. If the winemaker does not want to contribute to the Festival Archive he may opt for an extra charge 100 € + VAT.

2. LJUBLJANA WINE ROUTE

In collaboration with the Institute of Tourism Ljubljana we once again organize the event LJUBLJANA WINE ROUTE, which will variegate the Ljubljana city centre on 6 November 2010. We wish to bring the capital city to life in an atmosphere of Slovenian wine regions and wine routes, wines, cuisine and culture. Promotion and sales took place on more than 80 stands last year, which we continue to expand this year.

The price for participation includes:
• presentation of any number of products on the stand;
• standard exhibition booth: desk and nameplate;
• wine glasses with the logo of the event;
• communication and information;
• basic entry in the brochure of the event;
• basic presentation on the official website;
• promotion of Ljubljana wine route in the media.

Registration and payment till 31.7.2010: 250 €+DDV
Registration and payment till 30.9.2010: 300 €+DDV
In case of participation in both events, we offer a discount of 50 €!

3. ADVERTISING

• 1-page ad in the catalogue of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival of the format A5 € 600,00+VAT
• 1/2-page ad in the catalogue of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival of the format A5 € 400,00+VAT
• 1/4 -page ad in the catalogue of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival of the format A5 € 300,00+VAT
• Logo of 1/8-page in the catalogue of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival of the format A5 € 150,00+ VAT
• 1-page ad in the brochure of Wine Route (15x15) € 350,00+VAT
• 1/2-page ad in the brochure of Wine Route (15x15) € 280,00+VAT
• 1/4 -page ad in the brochure of Wine Route (15x15) € 150,00+VAT
• Logo (maximum size 1/8-page) in the brochure of Wine Route (15x15) € 80,00+VAT
• Banner (size 160x160) on the official webpage of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival from the agreement until 6 months after the event (visible all the time) € 400,00+VAT
• Banner (size 160x160) on the official webpage of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival from the agreement until 6 months after the event (visible alternately) € 250,00+VAT
• Logo on the advertising board of the official webpage of 12th Slovenian Wine Festival and 2nd Culinary festival from the agreement until 6 months after the event € 100,00+VAT

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS AND TERMS OF PAYMENT
! Registration can be made through the official website. Prices are bound to registration and payment deadlines. Participants in previous festivals have priority for participation if they apply on schedule.
! Registration is valid with the approval of the organizer and payment of the pro forma invoice.
! For the purpose of promotion, the organizer will use the information that were given in the application form by the applicant, and is not responsible if the information was entered incorrectly.
! All prices are stated in Euros and do not include VAT.
! The organizer will issue an invoice for the prepaid pro forma invoice to the applicant in the month of receipt of payment.
! In case of cancellation of participation the prepaid sum will be returned only if the notice was given in advance of at least 30 days before the event.
! For allocation to the hotels the organizer will take into account the expressed wish of the applicant and the order of requests depending on available places.
!  Slovenian Wine Festival and Culinary Festival are not sales events.
! Ljubljana Wine Route is a sales event. Therefore exhibitors which will sale their products must be registered for sale (as farmers, independent entrepreneurs, companies, etc.). The vendor should also take into account the legal conditions for the sale (issuing invoices, etc.).
! The organizer may terminate the cooperation in case that the applicant has not settled all the obligations to the organizer.
